The Epley Maneuver
A few years ago, I woke up one morning and I could not stand up. My head was spinning and I was suffering from motion sickness. I soon discovered I was suffering from "Positional Vertigo". I was able to solve the problem by watching a video on Youtube (true story!).
I recently came across the story of how Doctor John Epley struggled for many years to convince the scientific community of his findings regarding positional vertigo and how his mechanical maneuver was the solution to the problem.
